A Saturday of December 1, 2012

While writing the title, I've just realized the 11 months of 2012 have been passed and we're soon going to be in 2013 and leaving 2012 forever behind. It gives me nostalgic feelings as I have a strange relationship to this year of 2012. It has been such an amazing instrument to me to pull my strings in glorious way, a teacher for me to know and understand my existence over here and feeling the truth about myself.

But I must begin my today's topic, well topics.

It has been a beautiful relaxing Saturday for me over here in Islamabad, Pakistan. Today, I got to watch a movie I was badly waiting for "Hope Springs" starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell. It is a very beautiful movie which offers very good life lessons to be absorbed with and to be ready for situations that life might offer us. The chemistry between Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones was out of this world - very powerful and touching. I hope this movie and marvelous performance of Meryl Streep will help her bring another academy award this time.

I also got to see the "MMS Sex Scandal of Lollywood and Bollywood film actress Veena Malik".  The video shows her intimate with Rajan, more specifically cuddling and kissing. The clip is focused on the two and is shot in darkness and therefore the faces are not clear and the woman’s face looks very close to that of Veena.

                                                                                 It was quite a shock for me because I am a fan of Veena Malik. All these controversies and Scandals are just too much, I hope she'll come out of all this successfully and this scandal proves to be wrong. The reports of SMS scandal has not yet been confirmed by the makers of the film and therefore nothing can be validated as such. If the woman featured in the video is Veena and it is not a clip from her film then she is sure to receive extreme criticism from her natives of Pakistan. Anyways, Veena all the best!

At evening, I got to see a column over twitter of famous Pakistani British Comedian Shazia Mirza that she wrote for Dawn News. I had no idea that she was writing for Pakistani newspaper and so I re-tweeted to her tweet that I was so happy to see she was writing for Pakistani newspapers as It is important for her and us to have her recognized in Pakistan as she is in the UK and in the rest of the World. She re-tweeted and told me that she has been writing for DAWN for months. It was so cool to have a tweet from her for me. I was overjoyed by her this kind act. Now, I'm curious to read her more and more often on Dawn news.

Well, that's my whole day activities. At last, I also got to see a picture on Express Tribune facebook page and the picture was of Fatima Bhutto that she is going to be in next election, so excited to see such honest and wise woman in Politics. I wish her best of luck! We need her for our country.
